MAC - Trend F/W 09 Discussion

Hey loves, we have the prelim dish on the Fall Trend collection (this collection name is probably a working name and may change):

+ It will be very modern, very urban.

+ There are tones of taupy greys and blues with pops of coral.

+ 4 lipsticks

+ 3 lipglasses

+ 1 quad

+ A "new" fragrance called Asphalt Flower. It will be in a vial with a roller ball applicator. I say "new" because as any old school MAC addict knows, Asphalt Flower was one of 3 of MAC's original scents waaaay back in the day. Btw, the description for the orginal Asphalt Flower was: "Nocturnal, dark. A diffusion of deep floral notes."


What do you think? Love it? Lust it? Who remembers Asphalt Flower?

I'm hoping a bit that they also have some eyeshadow pots aside from the quad, as well as some nice-coloured lippies, but I'm also curious about the fragrance Asphalt Flower, both for its more useful roller-ball vial packaging and for its unique name.

Wait...if this collection is about taupes and blues, then does that mean this collection has the drool-worthy blue quad we saw a while back?

the 3 quads are in the makeup art cosmetics collection. this collection had one quad.

I remember at one of the shows they were talking about fall's eye being heavy on taupe/mushroom colours with silver accents.

i planned on saving up for a house.

but fuck it. i may have to just live FABULOUSLY and BEAUTIFULLY in a pimped out cardboard box just to keep up with my habit

Well if you are a first time home buyer you could get the $8000 new home tax credit. Think of all of the MAC that you could buy with that.
