MAC- Verrier- New Spring Collection for '09?

I was just browsing the makeup blogs and found this little gem over on Blogdorf Goodman (I did a search on here and came up empty, so I hope it's okay that I posted this!):

shadow – brushed across the lid.
Phloof! eye shadow – as a highlighter brushed under the eyebrow,
along the side of the eye and down the bridge.
Reflects Transparent Teal – a dot on the finger pressed onto lid.
Quarry eye shadow – lightly applied to the crease of the lid.
Plushblack Plush Lash Mascara – applied to the tips of curled lashes.

Face: Strobe Cream – massaged into the face.
Face and Body Foundation – a sheer application to even out skin tone.
Dame & Well Dressed Powder Blush & Seedy Pearl eye shadow –blended to create a healthy glow on the apples on the cheeks.

Lip: Girl About Town and Pink Nouveau Lipstick – blended together
and brushed onto this lips.
Clear Pro Longwear Gloss Coat – layered on top of lipstick.

all of these are current, permanent colors. its just an interpretation of one of the spring trends. it has nothing to do with any of the new spring collections.

this is part of the "seventease" trend i believe... my trainer gave me a copy of the hard bound "mac autumn trends 2008 book" from her last update (its amazing) because i'm kind of her protege' right now. and its full of stills from the videos we watched at update and has all these quotes (like the one the o.p. posted), erin, did you see the book i'm talking about?

no. but i did see one from last year's fall update, so i know what you're talking about.

oh my goat! its soooo freakin cool! our res trainer knows i want to get into training and since shes preggo right now, shes been prepping me since im "lead product specialist" for the 3 stores in jacksonville. so shes given me some really cool shit to study, like said book, im helping her facilitate the next update so i look forward to whatever goodies she has to pass along!

oh i still have a long way to go, i dont want to rush anything. i just want to soak in and learn whatever i can from her and while shes on maturnity leave i'll help where and how i can. then maybe in a year or so, i can move up again (im 3rd key now, i dont want to go further into mang. id rather take the training route). so we'll see what happens...
