I may buy the lippy But def get the gloss I reckon
)))) hopefully can get one anyhow just moved house mon and Tuesday I need to catch up on alot
when I can
This looks great with the lipglass. I am fair as can be and I LOVE dark lippies. I like that I don't have to wear much else with them and I still look good. I think they're sexy as hell.I really wish people would stop saying they're too pasty for dark colours. It's one thing if it's not your jam, but saying you're too fair for a colour is just annoying.![]()
I think it'll be lovely on you!I'm pretty sure I'll get it. I love trying different looks.
Same here in terms of dark lips & pale complexion! I love the effect! Very strikingThis looks great with the lipglass. I am fair as can be and I LOVE dark lippies. I like that I don't have to wear much else with them and I still look good. I think they're sexy as hell.

First off, you never make yourself darker by using a darker foundation. That's the #1 DON'T in makeup. Unless you self tan (blech) your body and not your face, and you need to match your face to your body, you ALWAYS match your foundation to your skintone. And secondly, saying a colour is too light to show up on a skintone is not the same as saying a colour is too dark for a skintone, so no, it doesnt work both ways. Even on me (NC20) there's colours that won't show up, and there's no way to make them work, but i can take a dark as night colour and make it work 101 ways. As I said before, there's a difference between saying a colour won't work, and saying a colour is outside of someone's comfort zone. And when people keep saying "I'm too pasty to wear it" it makes other fair skin people think they can't wear it either. And by me posting that pic, i showed us pasty girls that it can work.Hi Hun if this is how it defo going to look omg it looks fab Seen some other pics that I'm like no I'm not going to buy the lippy But this does look fab x If people have pale skin just put a tad more foundation powder on lol to make you not so pale I mean up the colour up abit Go up next shade if can Everyone is diff though I suppose it's just like others saying oh the colour won't show up on my nw45 skin or what ever the number is We have a lot of that on spektra too Hun I rember it quite a lot with the aa collection And moody blooms about the blushes not being rec on the face or the bronzers not showing up etc It's just the same as people saying oh I have fair skin I can't pull that colour off So it works both ways And thought this spektra was finding out different things and what's out there on market and encouraging ladies to look n feel good in colours too
Fair enough !!!!! But ladies can go a shade darker if wanted I do suppose just for summer or if got tanFirst off, you never make yourself darker by using a darker foundation. I'm glad to know it isn't just me experiencing this. I find that glosses I've bought in the last couple of years have gone off within a few months, whereas there are ones I've had for YEARS (don't judge) smell fine.I initially said i was gonna skip it, but I'm gonna try it out in person. I'm not a fan of frosts at all, but I'm only liking it with the gloss on top, not solo, but all of MAC's lipglasses lately have been rancid from the beginning, so if the gloss is rancid, I'm skipping it completely.
They're wrong. Sure, anyone can wear a darker shade, but you do that and it's gonna look a hot mess. If you're tan then yes, you go up to match, but you don't go up to make yourself darker. If you're a 20, then you wear 20. If you're a 45, then you wear 45. But if you're a 30, you don't wear a 40.Fair enough !!!!! But ladies can go a shade darker if wanted I do suppose just for summer or if got tanThe mac girls are always saying I can go one shade up if needed if wanted I'm a 20 or 25 nw Nw20 but I prefer nw25 I think
x
Oh girl i know you, and you know me! We like our dark lips! It doesn't get darker than black! That combo looks beautiful! Reminds me of a more pigmented Oil Slick from Urban Decay, before they turned their backs on those sorts of colours... Too fair to wear a dark lipstick? I can promise, you ain't never gonna hear that from me, hun. :nope: The deeper the better!!! I'm glad to know it isn't just me experiencing this. This is true. Or when people choose a shade too light for their face o.0 Reminds me of then time when I got “matched” at MAC :haha:. She noticed my skin tone is neutral & asked me if I preferred to look more bronze or more pink. I said “uhhh, I don't know?” well she matched me as NC15. I told her I was going to think on the foundation, walked outside & it was at least a shade or two too dark for me. Lol bronze or pink? I prefer to look like my skin color :haha:They're wrong. So true. My Indulge Collection lipglass from fall last year turned after Christmas. I checked my lipglasses from ye days of olde and they smell better. And yes, my old skool glosses are still super vanilly, but my newer glosses that were bought fresh have turned real quick. That's why i stick to just lipsticks now.

They do this on tutorials when duplicating certain looks. They don't do this on the daily.I think you can get away with a slightly darker foundation shade to tan yourself up a touch if you use a light coverage foundation and blend well down your neck. The Pixiwoo girls do this frequently and I think it looks totally fine. Of course, that's a matter of personal taste.
