MAC - Well Defined (Studio Sculpt) Discussion

I've been using a sample of the Studio Sculpt Foundation in NC25 and I really love it! Just ordered a full-sized one a couple days ago. I'm thinking about getting the concealer too...but unfortunately it only comes in NC20 or NC30.

The MAC MUA suggested I go with NC30. I'm worried it will be too dark...but the NC20 might be too light!!

What would you guys recommend? Thanks in advance!

^ I would go with the lighter shade for sure! I wear NW25 in SS foundation and am a NW25 in the concealer...and I have a NW30 in SF concealer and it's too dark. It leaves dark spots wherever I put it on

I apply it with a 217, pick up a tiny bit, and i mean tiny!, and pat it on. Then blend it out a bit & set it with my MSF natural & I LOVE how it looks!!

I use it as a bit of a concealer too. I mean, once you use it over what small area you want to cover, there is no need for a concealer anymore.

its the transparent finishing powder that came out with colour ready. it sets, softens and diffuses your whole look. it rocks!

I just picked this up last week and I already LOVE IT. Gives my foundation a great finishing look and minimizes oil in my T-zone throughout the day. love love love

I definitely want to try the finishing powder at some point. I'm still working with this foundation to get the look I'm really happy with. The concealer is giving me some trouble....I'm trying to figure out how to wear it under my eyes without having it crease and settle into the fine lines!

are you setting it with powder? you have to set the concealer under the eyes to prevent creasing. i use it only under my eyes and layer it with my MSFN (i don't wear foundation, just the MSFN) and it doesn't crease one bit.

Thanks, Erine! I actually do use powder to set my foundation and concealer. Hmmm....this is bothering me now....need to get this to work!

it certainly does rock, but it sucks that it isnt perm in NZ (yet). i will have to get a back up. no touch ups, or attack of the oilies all day!

I really need to get this powder at some point. It's been on my wishlist since this collection came out and I still didn't get chance to buy it!

I don't really know why but i prefer the MUFE HD powder over the new MAC transparent powder...

I still haven't got the chance to order the foundation! Also for the concealer, I don't know which shade to get since I'm a NW47.

I like the 217 but for smaller spots the 194 or 195 work great!

I use the 242. I think it's a pretty good overall brush (because you could also clean the brush and use it for your eyeshadows too

Im having trouble with this foundation "sliding" off during the day....i find that mid morning ( i get up super early) the foundation on my forehead looks like a grease factory and by the time i get home in the afternoon it seems like all is my foundation of gone!!! Any ladies having this problem? If so, or not any suggestions?
