Thanks. I was matched (as NC15 in both), but I was just curious because I am still kind of confused about the NC and NW designations...lol...I'm waiting to try this stuff out....must wash my brushes (but I'm oh so lazy when it comes to this....) Looking forward to seeing how nice the application is with my 109!

I have been trying different foundations lately since I felt my SFF wasn't doing so great on me anymore. I've been trying samples of MUFE HD and their Matte Velvet.
I got a sample of this yesterday and so I wore it today. So far I like it. I have found that I am just going to have to buy Smashbox Anti-Shine. I got a sample at Sephora as I am so oily. I tried thier primer light for oily skin and it didn't do anything for me. So I firgure with whatever foundation I go with I need the anti-shine. I'm NC15 and was pleased with the color (which I swear is a little lighter than my SFF NC15, good for me) and the blending of this. I also found that it is very easy to build coverage and not get cakey, which is usually a big problem for me.
I'm glad I thought to ask for a sample because during a live-chat about something else I asked about this foundation for oily skin and she said she would not recommend it for oily skin. I'm not completely sold yet as my skin varies, so I'm going to use up this sample which should be a least 5-7 days worth and then come to a conclusion. I so hope this works for me as it's cheaper than MUFE and I can b2m it.

Has anyone tried the Maybelline Dream Mousse Liquid? I am wondering if that is any good and it seems to have a similar coverage as Studio Sculpt. It looks so appealing in the ads saying that it gives you a poreless airbrush finish.

Have you ever tried MAC Matte ? A friend of I has really oily skin and she swear by this.

You can do both, you can even: use it as a primer, apply foundation and put some more in really troublesome areas, it's clear and blends really easily.
On the website they even say you can use it on a bare face to just give a matte look to your skin, never tried it that way tho.. but I would believe it.

I use MAC Matte as my primer. If you have any large pores or wrinkles or lines, it fills them in and prevents the primer from sinking into them and making them more noticeable. I swear by it.

Coachkitten I haven't even heard of that dream mousse liquid...sounds interesting! The makeup addict in me will have to try that. And if it is cheaper than MAC, well why not?
Also, I will have to get my hands on this MUFE HD stuff, since everyone seems to love it so much! I just don't live near a sephora so I have no idea what color I am.

So people, if I want a new liquid foundation for super oily and acne-scarred skin. Would MUFE HD or SFF be the better choice?
I think I'll steer clear of Studio Sculpt, wouldn't want to risk having a breakout.

I have the same skin as you, SFF made my skin breakout terribly. I would rec MUFE HD from my person experience. Ive heard a lot of ladies with the same skin type as mine tell me that SFF was terrible for them

Could you rec any good primers (face and eyelid) to use for our skin type?
EDIT: I see that you use MAC Matte. Is that a primer? They don't have it in stores here. Same with Oil Control.
We only get the regular P+P and the one with the SPF (which I'm currently using).
