lol, we all were like that at one point. No worries.
I'd say, if it hasn't been used yet, i'll just go with baby shampoo, since it doesn't have any colors on yet, it doesn't need something too harsh...
Plus, the baby shampoo will condition a little the brush!

Sorry I don’t know what SFF means?

SFF mean MAC's Studio Fix Fluid I believe.

I like this foundation! I had been applying it with the 109 for the past couple of weeks..but today I used the 190 and I think I liked the result with this brush better! I feel like when I was using the 109, I would use too much, where as with the 190 i could spread it out better and lighter!..and its not too matte in my opinion..not like Studio fix fluid was on my skin..yet a little more matte then the hyperreal...I'll have to try it with the strobe cream!

Do you use a simple brush cleanser (I have the one from Clinique) or do you deep clean with baby shampoo or something of the sort?

I don't use brush cleanser EVER. I go straight to the baby shampoo. With a new brush that has god knows what on it, you definitely want to go straight to the "deep clean". You want to make sure you get ALL potential crap off, and brush cleanser is too much of a quick-and-dirty-surface-clean for me to deal with.

That was my feeling...lol...but I thought I would ask those more knowledgeable than I before doing anything....I think I am just nervous that something will happen to my damn expensive MAC brushes that I have just avoided cleaning them....

So, I purchased my foundation last Saturday and my MA matched me as a NC 30. I was kinda scared, I thought it might be too light, but it was perfect.

Normally, I'm a Medium in Studio Mist, Medium Plus in Mineralize Loose, and a NC35 in Studio Tech..

Onto my review... I like it so far. I've heard people breaking out once they've used the foundation so I'm keeping an eye on my acne prone skin. haha...

The only think I kinda hate about it is that I look shiny in my t-zone. :/

I use my 187 brush to apply it and set it with my Mineralize Loose and it looks so pretty. hahaha...

I want to buy the concealer because it doesn't create that crease under my eye like my Select Moisture Cover does.

I just got my concealer in the mail today and I took some pictures to compare it with Studio Finish Concealer in NW15. It is really nice and I am able to blend it in to my skin so it matches but I think the Studio Finish matches me much better.

These are with the flash but I also have some without.

mac's brush cleanser is all i ever use! it works at the counter, and it works at home too.

hmm im kinda off the wall on this.. im wanting to get a mac liquid for the longest time.. so i got samples of studio sculpt nc25 and studio fix fluid nc25... SFF smells nasty my god its like some sort of concentrated alcohol that soon evaporates... but i do like how it looks... however i like studio sculpt too.. it looks awesome on the cheeks but it doesnt work so great on my forehead... too thick.. gotta thin it out =/ and it does get "glowy" over time... studio sculpt nc25 feels like nc27ish in studio fix which is a better match... 30 is toooo dark

im still watching out for the pimples but i dont tend to wear my samples all that too often unless im gonna be out for a while and i want my skin to look nice... i have some small bumps on my forehead but they are there quite often hm... tough choices...

My only problem with this product is that it's easy to apply too much and it cakes up right away, and even when I apply it well mid-day it looks so greasy.

I so wanted to like this but I think I'll be returning it.

SFF means Studio Fix Fluid.

Since you have extremely dry skin, I wouldn't recommend the Nude foundation. But if you insist on trying it, please get a good moisturizer. The foundation dries really quickly and has only a slight glow in the beginning of the day on my oily skin. I even mix a bit of moisturizer with the foundation just so I can blend it and work it into my skin without it drying as quickly. Definitely get a sample if you can.

SFF shouldn't smell.. I have it and it doesn't smell at all!! I would ask for a sample from a new bottle if you can.

I'm still getting the hang of this, trying out different brushes and stuff. Tried it with a traditional style foundation brush the other day - bit heavy coverage i think, prefer the finish of my 187. I too am suddenly finding i'm becoming shiny mid day, which i didn't before with studio tech. However, my face doesn't look as lined or old as it did with studio tech (and I'm only 26 ffs!). I have also recently changed my moisturiser and am still getting the hang of that so I think altogether it should work out soon enough.

Had a couple of spots, but I do find it difficult to work out whether they are just time of the month spots, and like all my blemishes these days they clear up pretty quickly (like in a couple of days). I did also have a couple of nights over the weekend where I slept on the sofa and didn't bother taking my make up off before finally getting to bed. So thats probably to blame too!

Has anyone else noticed the nutty smell of Studio Sculpt? Smells like icecream!

I really look foward to it." and he goes "I'll do my best to keep that up!"
