Well this collection sounds exciting! I just hope it is better than the vera neuhman(sp?) one...although I do love pearlglides

WOW!!!! If the pics are anything to go by from that book launch... I CANT WAIT to see what Mac comes up for this collection with all of that colour... minus the knockers of course ( .)( . )

I am really hoping for a bold and bright over the top collection from mac, and even promote some Pro pigments or other fun Pro products.
I feel like the colour explosion from that launch is just a taste of neons that we should get in this collection

Aw, I loved the Vera Neumann collection. It was a great spring/summer set. I got 5 out of 7 Pearlglide liners, all 3 Pigment sets, both Pearlmatte powders, and Butterfly Dream Plushglass. Gee, i didn't realize i got so much from it - i didn't buy it all at once - i spread it out over about 5 purchases. First i got 2 Pearlglides, one Pearlmatte, and Butterfly Dream - i was being sensible and circumspect. Then i started going back for more...
And i remembered the Vera scarves that my mother had, with the swooshy Vera signature including her little ladybug. I think that's why i ended up with both Pearlmattes, 'cuz they included that ladybug - well, not really, but it may have had some influence...
Back to Antonio:
MAC fall collections usually come out in late summer (August).
And if that one illustration is indicative of what colors MAC will have in the Antonio collection, it looks like it will include many intense rich jewel tones. (i imagine Pantone has already predicted next falls "colors") If they're too dark, i won't be getting many - my eyelids are scrunchy enough that i need to let some light in. Well, who knows? I've been experimenting with glittery black smudged cat-eye winging beyond my lids, so maybe by next fall i'll be playing with other blackened glittery colors that i've been avoiding for several years...
BTW, there's a Cindy Sherman photo exhibit here in San Francisco - i need to go look at it.

Basquiat would be amazing, although I think I remember reading about how his family is very protective of his name and imagery after having gotten burned in the past. It's a fine line between tribute and exploitation sometimes

Tx lilinah! I am loving the Rhapsody color. Wasn't Tangerine Tango the color for the Spring? I bought a whole bunch of things that color for the Spring.

Yup, Tangerine Tango was in the Spring Report AND the Autumn Report - i guess for spring and summer it's a hot sun color and for fall it's a sunset/autumn leaf color. I don't generally wear orange, anyway - although i will confess i got an orange knit blouse last year with a high-low hem. Really atypical for me, but i do periodically try to break out of my comfort zone...

Thanks! Most of the colors look quite wearable. I actually saw the colors, and Tender Shoots is a slightly muted yellow-green. I don't wear much clothing that color, but i do wear eye shadow in that shade, and i have my old original Urban Decay Acid Rain lipstick - sorry they discontinued it, but i guess not so many women want to wear frosted lime green on their lips.

TY! That Ultramarine Green reminds me of Laura Mercier's Turquoise "shadestick" I bought this summer. I have been wearing it as a liner but I have to test it soon as an e/s base. It is waterproof so that's why I jumped on it right away.
Tangerine Tango is there because it is the 2012 colour.
