*sneaks back in* Oh but did you see Palm Tree fluidline? That would truly be unique to my collex. Etheral Orchid is my kind of color, and I love coral cremesheen glass... *Sigh*

I know a lot of people knock T's make-up application skills, but things like this are why I find her reviews helpful. I like to really see the colour and the finish on the skin, and a light application can only really show how the colour and finish appear on the reviewers face. Heavy application gives me a much better idea of how the colour will pull on my skintone, whether it will draw attention to or blur my large pores etc.

With eye make-up, yes a lot of her looks aren't very good, but because of the way she barely blends you can see how each individual shade looks on the eyelid. Other reviewers will mention a product is patchy or creases or barely shows up, but then they use a whole lot of other products and spend a lot of time on a look, and the product looks great on them. It makes for pretty pictures, but it's useless for judging how a product really performs without a ton of work. I want to see how it actually looks if you just put it on, not how it looks with a very carefully selected base, other shadows applied over it and 5 minutes of blending. I may be willing to put that kind of effort into making a subpar product work if it's unique in some way, but I've seen some bloggers go to great efforts to make a poor quality basic taupe look much better than it is.

I'm not looking to her for make-up tutorials and I don't think she's aimed to provide them in a long time.
I couldn't have said it better myself! I feel the exact same way. It's so hard to judge a product when someone has used so many products that I really can't tell how the product performs or how the colours look on their own. I also frequent another blogger's page who doesn't blend as much for the same reason: I want to see the color and its texture.

Plus, I highly doubt Temptalia applies her makeup like that other than for reviews. You don't need to have mad skills to know not to walk around with streaks all over your face.

Morning Light is so pretty ;____; But for that kind of money, I might as well pick up the Warm Neutrals palette... Only been eyeing it for a year or so~ Blue Fountain is gorg, though!
I don't usually trust T's swatches, but the collection is a skip for me now... Trying to get other swatch comparisons...
I like teh GP blue better.  Looks richer.  I'm ignoring for now. Too much other shit to buy.

I really really like the look of the Morning Light palette...how would yellow tones look on green eyes? Mine have a little amber 'fire' around the pupils...I don't know if that would accent nicely or make it look dull. I really wish this stuff would be around to play with in store. Thoughts?

So after T's swatches, I'm skipping the beauty powder and now I want both blushes, two lipsticks and both brushes. This is going to be such a painful launch. I haven't really stalked since the new website. Ugh, dreading this.

I like both blushes on T, even though she went pretty heavy handed, I love the shades. I guess I'll just grab whichever one I can bc I'm sure it'll be Hunger Games when this launches. I'm 50/50 on the BP. Still want Zenith LS 50/50 on the neutral eye palette. I'll probably changed my mind again by the time this launches lol

I am taking part in the hunger games for the blush too :haha:
Lol, yay, we'll have a stalk party here. Last collection I fully stalked was the night BBW & Cinderella launched at the same time. I was on 1 computer my poor husband on the other. He grabbed the BBW, I got the Cinderella stuff. I guess you could count Julia petit. I had insomnia that night so I stalked for the heck of it & grabbed 2 lippies & the blush even though I wasn't that into her collection. Insomnia can be pricey.

I think it would look great with green eyes! I have darker greenish eyes with some golden around the iris and this kind of e/s always work well on me.
