Me too! I hate the new site. It looks pretty but it's one of most non-user-friendly sites I know.
Even Illamasqua's website is user friendly, and they only just recently updated it. Maybe MAC should take some notes from Illamasqua on how to update to a more user friendly interface

I think more people should complain. Maybe they would get the message.

Lol after reading this I went onto the Illamasqua site for the first time. Navigating was a breeze on my ancient iPhone 4s lol. The moving lip swatches (actual videos of the lipsticks on different skin tones) are great! Now that's what I call a user-friendly site

Their site is great! And I LOVED that they did the lip swatches on different skin tones too! Why isn't every company doing that!

NOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOO :shock: only TWO stores!!??? I thought it was at all MAC stores :sheep: Ok, I'm so not down with that.:nope:
This is primarily why I will probably end up skipping this collection. If I happen to be able to order something, then great. I won't lose sleep if I don't. I also won't be wasting my time dealing with the website if it is jacked up.

Haha yeah I breezed through the Illamasqua lip swatch video. Then I went on MAC and typed in Self Aware to kind of get ready for Macnificent Me and my phone froze up, took almost 20 damn minutes to get to the Coming Soon screen lol

I have found my new favorite combination, I love Mac's PLW lip liner in "In Anticipation", a sort of nudey pink. It looks SO NICE with In Anticipation as a base and then Zenith ontop..

I'm afraid the website won't change anytime soon. Other (European) countries are already scheduled to be converted to the new design. Oh well, let's see how long it lasts. Hopefully we will get used to it. The design of the website is very popular now, at least among (web)designers.
Typical. It's clear they are not actually *shopping* on the website. I did buy something online. NO order confirmation ! I wasn't even sure my order had gone thru. And that's not counting the circuitous process of selecting products and colors. I didn't mind the front page and the lack of black (which has since been returned). It's all the other stuff that bugs me.

I really wonder if they did some usability testing before they launched the new design. My guess is NO.
