You got the blue quad right? T's review made me want it just for the Nehru lol
I got both! I want to put a blushing icon there but I can't figure out how to do icons from my phone :p the blues are just so beautiful... And Karen kept saying how both palettes are so buttery and perfect... And I already have Amber lights but it's a color that gets a lot of use, so it's okay to have two. But I also think the blues just look so gorgeous set against the gold packaging!!!

OK well I caved and ordered the Morning Light quad and Zenith l/s. I have Amber Lights already, but to be fair, I wear it at least once a week and I'm on my 3rd pan of it.  I'm getting my new car tomorrow, so I guess this is a "Happy New Car' present to myself? Cuz it's definitely good to spend more money when you are getting a new car too, right?
I went on a bit of a bender right before I went to Disney World so it seems pretty normal for our addiction. Haha.

I was going to skip this collection, but when I got the email I figured I would look just to see what all was already sold out. It was 11am and it was all still there! I took my daughter to preschool and when I got back home I really started looking at the collection and couldn't help myself. I got the Red Water Lily blush because it doesn't look like anything I have. I was going to get a couple Stila Convertible colors from Ulta since they were only $12, but I decided against it. If I haven't bought them in the last ten years then I don't need them, I am waiting it out for some unbelievable holiday release from someone. I just don't know who yet. Haha.

I have been trying to stay away from the endless LE collections. A lot of my recent MAC purchases from these type of collections have been dissapointing and low quality. I indulged with this collection because the products seem to be great quality. I don't mind spending a little more on a few items that "blow me away" quality-wise. This is better than buying a cartload of chalky, patchy, non pigmented LE Mac shadows for the same $$.

So helpful. Sadly I'm concluding that I have colors like these already and I can't justify jumping in. Those compacts are to die for though. I wish I needed something.

Anyone have any word yet on what the beauty powder is like? I suspect I'll find it dupe-able too, but maybe there's hope for me getting something

It's a finishing powder, I don't think it can be used as a highlighter. I'd say it's closest to Elude from the Gareth Pugh collection but it still feels different. It's very finely milled but doesn't feel as lightweight as the Hourglass Ambient Lighting powders, for example. I like it a lot, but if you're already happy with the finishing powders you have it's probably skippable.

I waffled back and forth all day yesterday on whether or not to get something from this collection. In the end I wound up ordering Ethereal Orchid lipstick, Bright Pink Bouquet lipglass, and Lotus Blossom blush. I think the Red Water Lily blush looks beautiful too but with how pale I am I feel like it would be much too bright. The Lotus Blossom blush looks like it'll be a similar shade to Tarte Dollface which is one of my faves but I just finished up.
