MAC X Guo Pei Collection (Sep 24 / October 1, 2015)

I indulged with this collection because the products seem to be great quality. I don't mind spending a little more on a few items that "blow me away" quality-wise. This is better than buying a cartload of chalky, patchy, non pigmented LE Mac shadows for the same $$.

I waffled back and forth all day yesterday on whether or not to get something from this collection. In the end I wound up ordering Ethereal Orchid lipstick, Bright Pink Bouquet lipglass, and Lotus Blossom blush. I think the Red Water Lily blush looks beautiful too but with how pale I am I feel like it would be much too bright. The Lotus Blossom blush looks like it'll be a similar shade to Tarte Dollface which is one of my faves but I just finished up.

NO!!! You cannot be too pale for ANY blush

I'm super pale face & I love love super pigmented blushes. It's all in the brush. You can wear anything.

Thank you! Red Water Lily does look beautiful. I'm fighting the temptation to order it right now... I have like 15 blushes in my stash so I definitely don't need more but these just look gorgeous.
