MAC X Julia Petit Collection (March 18-19, 2015)

Here's more to add to your laughter. I actually TOOK THE DAY OFF THE FOLLOWING THURSDAY TO STALK IT! I've never done crap like that! But she's RiRi, from Barbados (my family is from Trinidad), so I wanted the collection. Went to one MAC store, nothing, then Macy's, nearly got trampled, then another MAC store, nearly got frost bite waiting in the cold and each place claimed to have about 3 Pleasure Bombs...Uggggh. That was the LJ of that collection. I keep talking about it in here, I must really be scarred.

I am a Trini! lol! I regret not being into MAC when this collection came out.

I wasn't following MAC as much during the Riri collections, but the horror stories I read on here about it seem to be the worst of any other collection.

I was Half-asleep so I don't remember anything other than how many hours it took to check out. My screen kept freezing or I'd be kicked off the page.

Mac launched Haughty and Naughty lash this morning, so perhaps that is it for the launches today. Or perhaps that means nothing!

I have a sneaking feeling that since BBW was pushed back , this collection is being pushed back too.

I was around for all Riri collections and the struggle was real but I've also heard horrible stories from the Marylin launch.

Full of Joy blusher plays well with pink and coral colored blushers! I need dis damn lipstick to launch! My son keeps asking me about the faces I'm making as I am scrolling on the net lol

I'm almost glad I wasn't into makeup for that launch. I would have probably ended up with some sort of scarring story like that as well!
My sister was on 285 for 22 hours! I was very glad to be snowed into a library lol

Yeah I worked in Cumming at the time so heading back into Buckhead was awful. I really felt for those stuck going on 24 hrs in their cars. Having lived in jersey for years, that weather was nothing but it did not prepare me for driving on solid ice

Oh lord, I just got flashbacks from being stuck on 400 for 9 hours....and I had to pee for 6 of those hours....living nightmare

That would be awful! I used to live up that way so I drove 400 all of the time. I felt so bad for everyone during that.

That is a LONG drive! I lived there during some big snowstorms in the 80's and ice storms in the late 90's, but they knew it was coming and sent everyone home early or places just closed.
