MAC X Julia Petit Collection (March 18-19, 2015)

So I stopped at airport MAC to see the Toledo collection that they just got and to my surprise they had Julia Petit up!!! The SA said they launched it either Wednesday or Thursday--basically while we were all distracted by the Bao Bao Wan drama launch! Boca, Açai, and Linda blush were sold out already, but she allowed me to play with the testers. Swatches on NW45 skin:

For whatever reason, I don't think we will have the same difficulties with this collection. Not saying it won't sell out, I just don't think will go as fast

In T's swatch gallery, the closest colour I could find to Boca was Nars Barbara, but still not exact as Boca looks cooler~~~ interesting~

That's so funny because Barbara is much darker than that on me. I wouldn't think they would be close at all. I did try it on at a Nordstrom thoigh which has such dark lighting!

Idk, its a small airport outlet that's only accessible to a limited amount of people at any given time. It's been up for 5 days already, and all the Brazilian flights operate out of that terminal--most of the passengers I'm sure are very familiar with Julia Petit. I wasn't surprised that it was sold out by the time I discovered it.

Idk, its a small airport outlet that's only accessible to a limited amount of people at any given time.  It's been up for 5 days already, and all the Brazilian flights operate out of that terminal--most of the passengers I'm sure are very familiar with Julia Petit.  I wasn't surprised that it was sold out by the time I discovered it.

My first time at the MAC rodeo was with the RiRi Collections. With determination I got everything I wanted from all four releases, plus a couple extras for my friends and family. And I wasn't even a Specktra member yet. I joined after the release of the Holiday collection. Ever since I've never missed what I wanted from a collection. Like @CiaoBellaa said in another thread...if you have the will, there is a way.

With that said, yes it sucks and its frustrating that MAC puts us through all of this to get their products. Are they going to change for the better? Who knows. I feel that if I can't ever get my hands on what I think I want, then I don't need it and it wasn't meant to be. Vande, we have the added advantage of being members of a great makeup community where we help each other along the way to our items. So don't worry, you will get what you want!

If I recall correctly, MAC is the #1 department store cosmetics brand in Brazil. I love the international influence. Still hoping to pick up two lipsticks, we'll see whether that happens!

My first ride was RiRi too (since getting back into MAC, I stopped for many years) and I've done pretty good myself getting everything I've wanted in le's up until now as well (except for the lippies in her last collection, got other stuff though). I only joined Specktra last Weds! I can only imagine it will just get easier and better with you ladies.
