:agree: and after all her years of reviewing MAC she should know that and at least do past and present swatch comparisons like she has for items in the past like Lavender Whip.It doesn't make sense for her to not test it out. MAC changes their formula on items all the time. Even she reports discrepancies between other products from one collection to the next, whether it's a permanent eyeshadow vs a permanent shade that happens to be included in a palette, other limited edition products that have come out in multiple collections, or whatever.
Exactly! I'm confused. Anyway, I got this reaction from her: ''I’ll see if I can play with it – I was planning on donating it since it’s new!'' We can only wait I guess. It doesn't make sense for her to not test it out. MAC changes their formula on items all the time. Even she reports discrepancies between other products from one collection to the next, whether it's a permanent eyeshadow vs a permanent shade that happens to be included in a palette, other limited edition products that have come out in multiple collections, or whatever.I'm think so! So I just left a comment asking her if the formula has improved or not.![]()
Right! I'm glad I'm not the only one here.:agree: and after all her years of reviewing MAC she should know that and at least do past and present swatch comparisons like she has for items in the past like Lavender Whip.
Hollywood Cherise, Blue Peep and Royal Wink
I mean it's good info to have!Right! I'm glad I'm not the only one here.
Oh same here. I have barely touched mine and I think it's starting to dry out, but boy does mine apply horribly. The colour is gorgeous, though.Too bad she doesn't has Genuine Treasure yet. I am really curious if the formula has improved, it's the only the thing I'm interested in but I only want it if it has a better formula.
I agree. I'd like to know if they improved the GT formula at the very least. It doesn't make sense for her to not test it out. MAC changes their formula on items all the time. Even she reports discrepancies between other products from one collection to the next, whether it's a permanent eyeshadow vs a permanent shade that happens to be included in a palette, other limited edition products that have come out in multiple collections, or whatever.
Genuine Treasure is the only thing I wanted from the collection but so many people here commented on the application that I decided to skip.Oh same here. She usually does for repromoted items, well most, especially items she finds are favorites among collectors. So perhaps she feels GT isn't as important as say a lipstick or certain palettes :dunno::agree: and after all her years of reviewing MAC she should know that and at least do past and present swatch comparisons like she has for items in the past like Lavender Whip.
Maybe, I hope she chimes in though for people who are interested. She usually does for repromoted items, well most, especially items she finds are favorites among collectors. So perhaps she feels GT isn't as important as say a lipstick or certain palettes :dunno:

If you're interested in the colour, I find that Reflects Antique Gold is really similar to Genuine Treasure. In fact, that's why I purchased it in the first place; I thought I could use it in place of the loose pigment or to layer underneath it. It's worth a look!Genuine Treasure is the only thing I wanted from the collection but so many people here commented on the application that I decided to skip.
Me either.I wouldn't be surprised if that was the case.
Church! You are on the money. People out here have the game twisted and think that makeup items are collectibles like jewelry and cars. Nope. They are meant to be used.
