Totally agree. I love Karen's swatches and lighting. But these powders looked like a fail from the get-go for my NW45 skin tone. Cardinal may be the only thing for me.
Karen is nowhere near my skintone (I'm NC50... Maybe a tad lighter... Need to go for a proper foundation match next weekend) but her swatches are usually near enough what I expected. Cardinal... I'm split down the middle on that lipstick. Something tells me that I already have it under a different name and finish

Same here re Karen. I've been NW45 since I first set foot in MAC in the late 90's and only yesterday the Becca rep was like, "But you don't have red undertones". My Becca color (Café) is totally different from NW45. So now I'm curious about MAC. I always felt that NW45 was off, but it always worked. It's so weird because my sis, another girl and myself are all the same NW45 yet different complexions.

I did use a foundation from Loreal and it was the perfect match for my skin. It was Cappuccino (N8), it was flawless on my skin. But I cant find it anywhere now, I have to with Cocoa. It's a tad bit too dark, along with my powder foundation and NC50

I use Avon foundation in the color Earth but have my NW45 Studio Fix for light dustings on top. I almost tried SheaMoisture's but I sometimes don't have the patience to try and return as you sometimes do with drugstore brands with no testers.

My firt match I was told I'm nw45 I have zero red tones. More neutral than anything. But I found a great SA and I'm now quoted as being nw46/47 which is supposedly brown/neutral toned. Not red or yellow.

After seeing the powders swatches on T, I am not excited about them- especially with the overspray disappearing.

At this stage I think I am skipping.

I am much more excited about the Dior tie dye blushes.

So my list is down to Hollywood Cerise x 2.

I hope this launches on time and without stress!

I think that was the dedicated WOC shade back in the day.

... Unless MAC wants a barrage of complaints all over social media again

Those highlighters are a total expensive miss. My list is Hollywood Cerise, Royal Wink, and Blue Peep. If Blue Peep is truly permanent, then it will be only Hollywood Cerise and Royal Wink.

Ultramarine Pink is one of my favorite lipsticks and a less cool toned version will be perfect! The pics have me swooning. Can you tell I am super excited for this lipstick? HAHA! I know that I will wear it a ton!
Still going to get one of the powders because I absolutely cannot resist that design. The Art Deco has my name all over it!

I will definitely have to look into those Dior tie dye blushes!

I am actually considering skipping now. According to T, MAC Red is a dupe for Cardinal which I already have. Hollywood Cerise is nice but I honestly don't think I will wear it.
