Okay, I've had some time to play with the blushes. In my experience, they both work fine with a brush (a good brush..I used the 168). Of the two, Sunset Beach seems stiffer. I didn't have to scrape anything for swatching or application. Ocean City is

. I am so glad that MAC fixed the mistake, because I like it way more than Sunset Beach, though it IS pretty. :)
I had no problems with either blush either. I have a bunch of blush brushes and they all work fine. Ocean City is more unique--I don't have anything like it and I don't think I'll find anything like it. The are both finely, FINELY milled. They just meld to my skin and have the prettiest sheen. For the record, I wear a moisturizing foundation (IT CC+ cream) these days (moisturized skin really seems to bring out the glow in my powder products). I love, love, love these blushes. Another big surpass is my love of Primrose--really pretty sheer deep color and very unusual.

Totally agree. Moisturized skin is the key to a beautiful glowy skin.

I'm wearing Ocean City blush here and it's absolutely a gorgeous shade without being overly orange and shimmery. For reference I believe I'm about an NC50. Excuse the weird selfie lol

As i've said, i don't swirl my ombré blushes. I like to take advantage of the color differences. I confess so far i've only worn Ocean City, the orange one. It seems fine and smooth to me. I use the light part on top of my cheek bones and the full color on and just under my cheek bones. And i blend them where they meet.

I still need to test run Sunset Beach. It looks so intense in the pan, but i have several brushes that should work - the NARS Yachiyo, for example - to make sure it goes on lightly.

I stayed strong and did NOT get Pink Fringe. I'm on Team Low Buy and trying to limit myself to colors i don't already have relatives of. I need to wear Woodrose again. It looked slightly peachy to me, which was a disappointment, but maybe it was just a trick of the light. My lips are naturally a little blueish and I was soooo hoping it would look grey-pink on me.

Thank you! I wore it again today and I like it a little bit more today than I did yesterday, which is good. Not totally wasted.

I think it looks lovely on you. It's not a very unusual color, especially with all the similar pinks MAC brought out this year, on top of the perm pinks, but can't deny that fabulous packaging!

I STILL think Be Fabulous Mineralize l/s is better - just a better texture and a tad more wearable shade too. I'm more into Sweet Experience too. Woodrose, on the other hand - LOVE.

It's not too heavy on the grey. It's one of those colors that appear cool, but are actually for warmer people overall. I'm not surprised it ran a little peach on you. Do you have Hip & Happy lip pencil? I get super results using that one with all my lipsticks that run a little too brown, that I want to look pinker and cooler on me.

I do have Hip ‘n’ Happy. I'll give that a try. Thanks for the suggestion!

I will be collecting my order from Selfridges (UK) after work today sooooo excited. I ordered both blushes and Mangrove, I really hope I don't have the same problem as a lot of other people have mentioned when using the blushes.
