I'm really not sure! I think I read it on yelp lol I can't remember though.
I don't think they keep it for themselves but they just don't put it out on the shelf idk it was weird lol.
Some cco's suck! And they get stuff in waves so hopefully you find some good stuff! Remember to smell the lipsticks. Some things they have are older and you only want to buy if it has that vanilla sent

I got some limited edition new stuff from Mac last year that did not have that vanilla scent. Should I have sent it back?

As long as it doesn't smell sour you should be good I personally steer clear if it smells weird at all because lipsticks do go bad and if it's anything like my cco they have things from a really and I mean really long time ago lol

Most of the stuff I saw when I was there last week was from 2011. Not super old, but still. I'm sure I could've found older items if I had looked more thoroughly.

There was still hello kitty stuff at the one I want to last year in Cheshire England! Most stuff I've bought from the cco has been great, apart from a Bobbi brown mascara I got was completely dried out! :( you can't return cosmetics in the UK and I couldn't even return it on faulty grounds because I lived hours away! So next time I go I'll be opening everything before I leave the shop!

That's a good policy. There should be exceptions like damaged and what not but I think it's a good policy. My mac counter will resell returned brushes if they're told they weren't used (they're not suppose to) but the girl tried selling me one with a return sticker already on it! I was like no. Plus having lots of returns increases prices. I think the U.S should adopt that policy lol My cco purchases have been good. But there was a sour lipstick once so u was like yuck. I've since heard my cco keeps good stuff behind the counter I think to keep them from getting tampered with. The cco is located in a place where all walks of life go and I guess some people think it's okay to open stuff, try it on, who knows what else lol

Is your CCO at the Gilroy outlets? That one is terrible.

Are you sure they're reselling returned brushes? They could get in a lot of trouble for that! MAC is one of the few companies I know of that has the policy that everything that gets returned gets tossed. Maybe a customer decided at the register not to take the brush, but the SA had already put a sticker on it and didn't take the sticker off when they put it back on the shelf? I hope that was the case, anyway! Yeesh...

I went into my CCO last about a month ago and they had one on the Venomous Villians glosses out!

   Wowww that's like 5 years old!  Crazy!  Bet some people would love to get their hands on it though, lol Are you sure they're reselling returned brushes?  They could get in a lot of trouble for that!  MAC is one of the few companies I know of that has the policy that everything that gets returned gets tossed.  Maybe a customer decided at the register not to take the brush, but the SA had already put a sticker on it and didn't take the sticker off when they put it back on the shelf?  I hope that was the case, anyway!  Yeesh...
After about 5mins those sticks will NOT come off those brush sleeves. That's what sucks about customers who change their minds about buying brushes once they're already stickered and rung up. That's almost always the reasoning behind why brushes have stickers.

I would wager brushes are the #1 thing customers change their mind about at the register too, especially the more expensive ones. Not everyone understands the importance of good makeup brushes!

That's what I thought too but it was the only one and seemed flat. Maybe that's why the person changed their mind because it was a lame looking brush. Maybe the bottom of the shipment but I wasn't taking any chances! My mac has since changed management and things are much better I've never ran into something like that again.

It just weirded me out. I wasn't taking that brush lol. I can't even remember which it was I remember it's the skinny powder or blush one I can't remember but I was like no thanks lol. So do cco's keep stuff forever? Or...

Yup. They're always quick to take the brushes when you're doing the makeup application, but then when you get to the register and they hear the total, the brushes are the first things to come off the pile.

PN is pretty light. Not as pigmented as ripe peach. But if you can find it at a cco I say try it. As for ripe peach, in my opinion, it's over hyped. There's a lot of beautiful peach blushes that are far better from both mac and other companies. I do love the gradient look but I think this new blush will probably be better and be just what all you ladies want.
pn is peachy on my cheeks hmmm
