To be fair, anyone who's bidding on eBay for highly coveted LE items should have done their research. A quick google search would show that this tacky excuse for a MAC lippie is as fake as Jordan's tits.

Haha. The shape of the lipstick isn't right either. Anyway it just angers me. The cheats are making money and the buyers are left with something worth a couple of pennies. I've seen this happening with lots of the special packaging Mac collections,not just Marilyn. I think they transfer a cheap lipstick into an empty lipstick and give it a new name...

Yeah sadly the only reason a true Mac lover should ever think about buying something this fake is if they really liked the packaging and plan on putting an actual mac lipstick in it ( I wouldn't dare us the lipstick that is in it who knows what it's made of)

So I was looking into an ebay seller's feedback just to see whether or not ppl complained about getting fake stuff... to my disbelief I found this:

It's crazy! MAC does NOT make anything like this... I don't understand why someone would pay this kind of money for a fake. If I'm gonna bid that kind of money for something you better believe I'm going to google search a 180 Mac pallete before hand. I honestly feel bad for those that are taken, but you guys are so right... they are partly responsible for not doing their research.

When you read the seller's info, it should give a clue: Bio All About Me What everyone should know about me Always looking for ways to make money. I am SO tempted to buy an item so that I can report FAKEITY FAKE FAKE on the feedback. Just like that.

In my imagination i was thinking earlier of collections i would like to see MAC come out with. I thought about a Bombshell collection with makeup reminiscent of Brigitte Bardot, Sophia Loren, Bettie Page, & Raquel Welch. I know it would probably be too close to what they've come up with for MM but each woman had her own beauty style. It would be really lovely to see that one day.

Yes I think that would be a good collection I love Sophia Loren and Raquel Welch. I wish that they would do something like a Audrey Hepburn Collection too.

I've known people who've bought fake MAC too and it is sad because they pay a ridiculous price for a product thats low quality! Like you said, poor young girls that don't know! =/

Lol, I was just going to say that. I know no one is going to spend a lot of money making a fake lipstick, so it makes me wonder why MAC couldn't have done something equally as pretty (I mean I really like the packaging, not sure about the lipstick tube) with all their money to spare?

Their designers just suck. I think they like extremely simple clean looks? The head person must be super OCD or something lol I think they should have done sonething way different. White tubes with red would have been nice IMO

Maybe they thought you'd somehow found out by...I don't even know...listening in on employee meetings or...just...no clue.

Either way, highly inappropriate on that employees part.

Very true, I'm a little iffy on that super shiny red part of the tube. But sheesh the box is gorgeous, I'd have LOVED to see something like that from MAC.

Honestly, I didn't like the packaging but more than that I was just surprised by how small Marilyn was on the lipsticks. I figured for the rare never before used photos they'd have really wanted to show it off. Instead it was just kinda...hidden away so to speak.

For real! The customer service is pretty bad and its like the crazies always go there!
I will stick with good ol' Pembroke Lakes in Broward or Aventura, that's it!
