Good point.  Its never too soon for HK now I think about it!  This time I'd like to see some more bling, like crystals or rhinestones on the powder products and quads!  HK should never be subtle.  Now that we are on the subject, I would love to see some different packaging on MM Part 2.  Bling in the form of crystals would be heavenly, but I'd settle for something besides black packaging.  Like red glitter.

They did lavender-ish with Dame Edna. Mint would be cute! I'd like to see turquoise. But not metallic turquoise, that's been done as well.

The closest MAC has ever come to turquoise packaging that I can remember is the Lure collection (I think that's what it was called?) back in 2006. I loved the lippies because they were the usual black bullet, but with turquoise instead of the silver (like how VG has the red where the silver parts usually are). I clung to my Goddess lipstick for a longggggg time.

Yes! I thought they were nice too. And when the lid is on the lipstick you can still see that little ring of turquoise in the middle.

I know that feel. I love shiny and sparkly things, especially in fabrics. I don't know what it is, they always distract me and I just have to have 'em.

Yesssss, Lure is what I was talking about. I always forget the name of that collection lol. I bought a lipglass, don't even remember which one. I used the crap out of it and it was gone within a month then I B2M'd it. Stupid me back then didn't treasure my LE items -_-

Never resort to evilbay! The packaging was super pretty, but I don't think the products themselves were any better than anything that's out now. Just my opinion!

It was so simple, yet so pretty!

I was pretty good about not using the one lipstick I got from that collection too much, so it lasted me a couple of years, as I recall. I kept the box for a long time after that though just because I loved that shiny turquoise writing on it, and it kind of reflected light in a way that made the sheen on the turquoise turn different colors. So it was turquoise with almost a pink sheen in certain light...I think? It's entirely possible I hallucinated that part

Isn't that the collection with Mancatcher? I got that from the cco. It broke awhile ago. It was really pretty.

Well, i tracked down the Lure collection (summer 2006) on the web. Boy, i sure would have hauled from that one! I wanted at least 2/3 of everything!

At the time there were a lot of complaints on various beauty boards about the "green" packaging looking dismally like Clinique, which was putting posters off.

That's really funny since nowadays many of us go crazy over having the limited edition packaging (well, some collections more than others). I wish I was big into MAC back in 2006. I would have spent my whole itty bitty paycheck on that collection, blue packaging and all.
