Grand Pumpkin was made for you!  It's looks great with your skin tone.  I got it, and it looks so bright in the tube - not sure if I can pull it off.   Grand Pumpkin looks great on you, too!   SY looks great on you!
Woww! I never thought this Simpson collection will work on us, black beauties. I'm glad and excites to have this products in France

Hi everyone, this is my first post. I love MAC and I am very excited about the Simpsons collection. I have never been very confident with eye makeup, but both shadow quads in this collections look beautiful and unique. I don't like to do makeup that is too bold, but I was wondering what your thoughts are on using either of these shadow quads with an everyday kinda look that you wouldn't feel weird wearing to the office.

I don't wear a lot of eye makeup so I will let the other girls give you advice on that topic. I just wanted to say :specktrawelcome:

When I first heard the MAC would be collaborating and creating a Simpson collection I was beside myself. I was so excited UNTIL all the sneak peeks were coming out and once the collection came out. I know a lot of people love the collection, some even bought a few things for a collectors perspective BUT i think they've really missed the nail on this. This collection had so much potential and it was a flop. Even some of the product names. Was it specktra who provided some fake product names/packaging images and shared it with trend mood? Well I think the creative brains behind that made better choices than MAC themselves. I can't get over that there wasn't any lipsticks in the collection *sigh*

I would love to have Sideshow You or Pink Sprinkles :) But unfortunately the collection is Mac online exclusive in Germany. I read that it should be online tomorrow and that's the only day I have no time to order something :/

I feel like pinks, purples, and some greens are work appropriate. Really any color. It just depends on how you apply it. If you do a basic brown or transition color in the crease you can use almost any color for the lid. I prefer to keep my brow bone highlight matte, so I don't go overboard with shimmer. Usually I use my Mineralize Skinfinish Natural on the brow bone. For work, I'd keep everything blended but not smokey. Also I wouldn't make my eye shadow so opaque. So maybe a light dusting of the color I want to use on my lid. So to be succinct, on your brow bone, inner corner highlight, crease, and undereye use natural blending colors like light browns and on your lid use a light wash of the bright color you'd want to wear.

Girl we can wear almost anything! You might have to make some adjustments but dark skin girls can rock alongside everyone else

That is true. Sometimes its more of the lip pigmentation too that can make a big difference. That aside, I would have to say that your swatch and Naomi's convinced me to get Grand Pumpkin (great nude lipglass) and IS&S. I am not convinced that I needed IS&S since I just bought Reckless Desire. I realize they are both different but do I need two purple lipglasses??? The truth is, probably not.

Oh and never wear brighter colors without concealer!

Purple is my weakness :( My obsession with purple is like others' obsession with red. I can't get enough! But I can say I don't have a purple like IS&S.
