Yup.I was allowed.. I liked the Simpsons. Now as an adult I can see why they are so popular. It was something we would be watching when we came home from school.

I used to watch The Simpsons all the time as a kid with my brother and sister and Daria is still to this day one of my all time favorite shows.Just a quick question for you all...Were you allowed to watch The Simpsons growing up? My mom hated it and never allowed anyone in our house to watch it. She took away my tv privileges because she caught me watching Daria once. Even as an adult I just can't get behind the trashy cartoon shows, but I will admit I watch trashy reality shows when my boyfriend isn't home.

I must have been the only one who wasn't watching The Simpsons when I was a kid! My mom wasn't even strict, she just couldn't stand it for some reason.
There are some longtime Simpsons fans out there, so I'm sure this collection will do pretty well if MAC makes it nice. I'm slowly warming up to the idea, so we will see if it ends up being a hit.

I could watch the Simpsons but I had to turn away when itchy and scratchy came on... My parents had very strange rules!

Yea it definitely has a lot of potential to be a pretty cool collection. I hope they do something amazing for all the Simpsons fans out there, but my wallet won't mind if it's nothing special.
I'm still a little unsure if I think it's totally cheesy in a good or bad way.
I still think there are plenty of other shows or movies that MAC could go wild with. My vote would go to The Rocky Horror Picture Show, now that would be lots of fun!

I remember Daria being pretty good, but I haven't seen it in a very long time. I'm going to watch The Simpsons soon to see if I can join the fan club and get a little more excited for this collection.Now I have Daria on the brain and will have to go home and watch a few episodes.

haha when i get really excited i cry sometimes or get the lump in my throat. My dad does it too. SO i have watched this show my whole life, with my family too. Im hoping they repromote the shadow Blue Candy from the fall colour collection aka cindy. i missed it and am sad still. Hoping to special packaging and a decent size collection!!! And when that makeup gun episode came on my sister laughed and said is that how u do your makeup?? she teases me cuz i keep so much makeup in my messy purse, she says i jus put my face in my purse and voila makeup done hehehe

That's so awesome! Was it the actual musical show? I just did some quick math and the film's 40th anniversary will be in 2015, so maybe somebody will celebrate it will an awesome collection. "Hey MAC, did you get that?"

That's great! I've only seen it twice in the theater, the last time was about 2 years ago with Sharon Needles playing Frank-N-Furter.
