I was in Sephora yesterday, and there was a group of 20 something girls (apparently friends) applying whole faces using testers.  Everything from mascara to gloss to foundation.

One girl kept rubbing her fingers on the NARS es testers and then applying directly to her lids.

That doesn't spread bacteria, as long as she wiped it down with a tissue first (which i doubt she did). I'm trained in sanitation, so that doesn't bother me.
That's gross :barf: I never apply any of the makeup on my face in Sephora. I have used my hand before but I'm really careful with lipsticks and try to rub off a bit with a cotton pad they have or the little applicators.
Now THAT spreads bacteria if it's not sanitized with alcohol. If its properly sanitized first, you can safely apply a lipstick straight from the tube. Using a spatula, or a qtip, or whatever, is the exact same thing as applying it straight from the tube. It's just more difficult and you look funny applying it
I've never tried nail stickers. Are they hard?
Nope. Easy peasy!

I would love to see light swatches of the glosses and blushes. In the swatches that we did see the glosses seemed to be applied very heavily.

After seeing more pics I'm skipping this collection. I'm glad because after A Novel Romance I should be happy with product for a while! Lol

Sephora doesn't cut off wands. When wands are left on, you're just asking for people to use em. I don't try anything on at sephora. :nono:
Yea a few weeks ago a girl next to me was trying on mascara DIRECTLY FROM THE TESTER WAND at Sephora....I tried to walk away and mind my business but I couldn't, I told her she's prolly gonna get pink eye lmao

I love nail stickers! They're not hard to apply, but they do take a little time. You have to trim them to fit your nail shape, but once you have them on, they're on! On average, I'm able to wear nail stickers from Sally Hansen (for example) for up to ten days on average before they show any sign of tip wear or peeling. I love them! Hopefully, the MAC x Marge nail stickers will have the same quality as drugstore brands - if not better.

I've seen girls doing a full face of makeup off of testers at sephora! It's gross and annoying. Usually they're teens.

I love the Simpsons but this might be a pass I don't wear gloss too often and I'm not blush crazy either and since I can't remember anything else that comes with this collection I'm taking it as a sign that this is a skip. Such a shame if they had lipsticks the same color as the glosses I would be happy and if they had a blue lipstick the same color as marges hair I'd go to church every Sunday

Even after dishes and things? I'll have to try them! I think these are cute, I would only wear like two per hand with black nails but still cute!

Yes, girl! They stay on through doing the dishes and taking showers. I love them! Hopefully, MAC does them right! Great minds think alike! That's exactly how I planned on wearing mine!

Lol I do look funny. No I usually get a couple of the pads with alcohol on it and wipe off the lipsticks. I saw that the first time I bought makeup at Nordstrom and I asked her about it and she told me all about sanitation. All I remember is never try on mascara and wipe off lipstick with alcohol. I think the tester lipsticks are gross at Sephora but everyone's skin tone is so different that its difficult (at least for me) to go by swatches.
