these pics are very hard to tell by - we cant see the print very well. Now I am no expert on brushes but these dont look good...... They remind me of SE brushes but SE are not individually packaged like these ones. MAs often dip the bases of their brushes in nail polish to identify their brushes from other MAs but then that would mean these are used.... There is no sticker UPC on the packaging either....

Did you purchase them from eBay? I'm not familiar with this set of brushes but my thoughts are leaning towards the fake side. With those plastic package... mmm..

I have seen these SE sets before, they actually came with the coloured bottoms like that, it's not nail polish or paint. The #144 brush looks like one of Mac's older brushes, the print and size looks like my old, first Mac brush ever, the #266. Some of their brushes got new numbers and some were discontinued. I believe the consensus is that Mac SE brush sets have yet to be faked, the worry is really with the full-size brushes and full-size brush sets.
