Makeover for a friend

I really like how this turned out considering it's the first time I've done someone with her eye shape.

It just sucks how I always mess up one eye. I like the way the right eye is darker, more sharp and structured as opposed to being more blended out.

I still haven't figured out how to make foundation look picture perfect...any tips?
