Makeup for a Charity Event

Hey! First, I’m new here, so ill introduce myself – I’m Maura, and I am a fashionista getting more and more interested in makeup
I’m looking to get some advice/opinions on how to do my makeup & hair for a charity event I’m going to be participating in on behalf of my sorority. To raise money for charity, I’m going to be getting slimed, which means covered in green slime (you know like the nickelodeon stuff!) as well as pied-in-the-face. Since I am known around campus as a big fashionista, and everybody is used to seeing me look perfectly put-together, I got a lot of suggestions to dress up when I get slimed! I think it will make it more fun for people to watch if I go from all perfectly-done-up to trashed haha, so I am going to do it! I’m planning on wearing a gorgeous silver sequin dress from Jovani and a pair of nude Louboutin pumps.
Now I just need to decide on hair/makeup I’m thinking I should shoot for something a bit over the top, so it’s a really dramatic contrast going from perfectly done up to totally destroyed – hair matted down and gross, makeup running, etc! Thats my thought, but ill welcome opinions! So basically Id love it if you guys could propose some hair and makeup styles that you think would fit with the event and my outfit and give me any tips you have!

I would go heavy on the smokey eye since upon sliming it will probably run thus adding for a more dramatic effect! have fun and post pics! sounds like a hoot!

Sounds like a very fun event! :nods: Definitely agree you should smoke it up for your eye makeup. For the hair, I almost think -- to add to the impact -- you should wear it down. Maybe in waves?

Hey! So I know I'm reviving this thread from the dead, but we ended up not going through with the charity event during the spring semester, but are planning to do it now during the Fall instead [first Saturday of October]. So if I could get any more advice on hair/makeup and/or feedback on my outfit choice, that'd be really helpful! Thanks
