Makeup Recommendation for prom

Hey guys! I'm really stuck as to what makeup to wear for my prom! My dress is a bright cyan blue, and it's like a goddess dress - really flowy! I think I wanna go for an ethereal look altogether. Oh and my skin is fair/medium, with yellow undertones.

I'd really appreciate any suggestions!

A silver, platinum shade would be lovely. Maybe a smoked out silver would pick up the look into a more sophisticated one.

^^ITA with the other recs. You want a simple, glowy look as to not compete with the dress. Plus, if you overdo the MU, it can look harsh in photos. Just like wedding MU, a clean simple look will keep you from regretting your prom look later on! Silvery lids (MAC Vellum, Electra, and Vex are good), falsies, soft glowy blush (MAC Prism topped with a little bit of any MSF--not too much or you will risk looking greasy), and MAC Plink! l/s topped with Prrr l/g is a nice soft look. HTH!

What about coppery, shimmery browns on your lids, flushed cheeks, and a stained lip look?

I like doing gold if the outfit is blue. I would love to se your skintone in like Amber Lights which you can mix with a lil Goldmine to keep it that yellow gold. I would do like nice peachy kinda coral blush.

Another great color maybe something light yet dewey on the eyes...Shrooom E/s or one or my fave Vanilla pigments. Def use an eye shadow base. (my base right now is Urban Decay Primer Potion. I put it on one day..got caught in the rain...came back home took a shower...went out again that night and didnt even need to RE-TOUCH MY EYEMAKEUP)

. I actually like a nice cat eye for a night out. I lean more towards Vanilla pigment because it is such a great springtime color.
