Has anyone else made their own vanity?
All of the ones I could find I thought were very bulky, and I like more modern furniture (which is odd considering everything else I love vintage!) so I bought a long "floating shelf" (you can't see the brackets) and use that with a stool under it, and I put smaller shelves around it with baskets and boxes for all of my items, and my train case goes neatly under it. I bought one of those cheap full-length mirrors and put it long-ways on the wall above the shelf for my mirror.
did anyone else do a set up like this? Or DIY part of their setup? I'd love to see pictures or hear about it!
