So my boyfriend and I decided to do our Valentine's date yesterday as it worked out best for both of us. 10 months now, and 1st Valentine's together. We did dinner, a movie, and he got me flowers, teddybear, chocolate, balloons. He's wonderful.

Had my 1st Kindergarten Valentine's Day party too.. it was a very.. loud day! Kids were sweet and spoiled me with chocolates and cute toys. One little boy (John) even got me a dozen red roses and a big stuffed bear to go with it. I love my job.

My sweet John came to school wearing this t-shirt and melted my heart. From his mom via email: Earlier this evening, I casually mentioned to him that by next school year he'll be in 1st grade and Ms. Selmon won't be his teacher anymore. He stopped what he was doing and started crying. He said, "but I love Ms. Selmon, I want her to be my teacher forever." He told me not to ever say that again and made me promise that I wouldn't send him to 1st grade.
