MicroLaser Peel

Hi everyone I am getting a MICROLASER Peel on Novemver 29, 2008... I am preparing for this procedure. I have some scarring from acne, some hyperpimentation, medium pores that need to be shrunk and also I have some pockets in texture and shallow pockets I like to call craters on my face. I do not have horrible skin or deep craters at all thank God, But I always do a Microdermabraision and it only lasts about two weeks and it costs me almost $100.000 per treatment. I have an Medical Aesthetician who has been working on my face since May 2008. She reccomended a MICROLASER Peel because it goes deeper into the skin and it peels away the first 8 or so layers of the Epidermis (the layer of skin you can see) and after the skin is healed in about 4-7 days I will have brand new pink skin that glows. I am a little nervous about doing this but I have already made my appointment. I was just wondering if anyone here has ever had this procedure done and if so can you please give me any information on your experience so I can know what to expect... Thanks for reading ...

I don't really know much about the microlaser peels, I've heard about them though and they seem a good option. I've had microdermabrasion, Nlite laser treatments and low irritation acid peels. But I can imagine they're very different.

If you'd like to know about the acid peel however, I'm happy to share my experience.

Hi again ladies... I will post before and after photos. I have to use a bleaching creme for about 25 days before the procedure and I started it yesterday. This is a very big step for me to take because I have done many microdermabraisions in the past, however a MICROLASER PEEL is a much deeper kind of a treatment that penatrates deep into the epidermis (that is the fiirst layer of your skin, the skin you can see) and it sheds the epidermis to show the dermis (the second layer of new skin you cannot see). After the procedure I was told that my face will be very red for about 2-3 days and I will look very badly sunburned, then my skin will start to flake and peel but I cannot pull the peeling skin off my face I have to let it fall naturally that way I do not scar, I guess I willl look pretty red and nasty the first 2-3 days but it will subside after 7 days. I just thought that maybe someone on here is a skin care specialist or has had this procedure done so that way I can know if it hurts, and how nasty will my face look, and I am guess I am just a curious little monkey who wants to know everything there is to know about this procedure. Mostly what I want to know is if it is worth it to go through with a procedure like this, it is considered a small surgery of the skin for the face, so no cuts, stitches, or bandages to put on after the procedure, maybe a little uncomfortable feeling and tightness of the face but I want to learn more.
Thanks again for reading...
