I saw Milani when I went to Walgreens today. Sometimes they do have sales there like buy one get one free or buy one and get the other one 50% off.

i saw them at target today. they had all the single round shadows, that fit into the mac palettes. i almost got a few, then realized that with 150+ mac shadows, milani ones were a bit pointless, even if they were cheap. stilll, the colors looked gorgeousss...

from what i've heard on here and on the LJ mac boards, they're comparable, at least. probably not *as* good as mac, but the color paypff is decent, and they last pretty long too, especially if put over urban decay primer potion and/or a shadestick or paint. they're only a couple dollars, in the US. not sure if they're available in canada..

they're $3.50 in US, the bronzes/greens are pretty good, purples/greys are crappy IMO. They're not nearly as good as MAC, but the color payoff is pretty good, and they're a cheap alternative if you don't want to spend the $$$. They go on BOGO sale at Walgreens once in a while.

I like Milani shadows. Some are as good quality as MAC, while others aren't. Like with most lines, it has its stinkers. I've been happy with most of the ones I have bought though. I have to agree with Cool Kitten, their greens and bronzes are great quality - Golden Bronze & Antique Gold, which actually is more of a brownish green w/gold, especially. BTW, Milani shadows are super easy to depot, and they fit MAC palettes. Someone on here posted a tutorial on how to depot them.

I get mine at Walgreens too, though I also see Milani at Target & CVS. The Walgreens stores in my area have the largest Milani selection and get the new stuff much more quickly, so that's why I prefer to buy Milani there. Plus, like the other already mentioned, they have BOGOF deals every once in a while.

I'm happy with the quality of my milani eyeshadows and blushes. I find when I pair them with the urban decay primer potion, the color does not fade.

Although certain eyeshadow colors are not as vibrant as they appear. I find their blues and purples to be streaky and you have to load a lot on the brush to get even a hint of color. I would stick with browns, bronzes and greens. These have the best color payoffs!

milani is for the most part comparable to mac. if you use a base, the shadows will last just as long with just as much colour payoff, but for a fraction of the price.

you can usually find them at cvs, walgreens, target and sometimes kmart/walmart. the milani site will direct you to: http://www.bestbeautyonline.com/milani.asp to buy online.
