That is a hawt look. I too have the same crease problem. I just have a lot of eye space. But hands down you did an awsome job.

ahhhhhhh! i am in the some boat on you on this one! i'm asian, so it's almost by default that i don't have a crease, i have a tiny one like you. and whenever i do my makeup like that, it just doesn't look right. so i definitely know what you mean. i've kinda accepted that, so now i just do darker colors in my crease near the outside corners, or i'd do a dark smokey by having the dark color all along my crease and eyelash line. but this look is awesome on yoU! i wish i could pull that off.

Thanks a lot, everyone! I'm surprised so many people still like my hair, it's SUPER faded but I haven't had time to redye it since I'm in the middle of midterms and a billion essays. Well...I'm glad it still looks good.

Honestly, I've learned a lot from the tutorials meant for Asian eyes. Obviously the shape is still different from mine, but the ideas some girls have about making a crease have definitely helped me out. If I'm looking for tutorials I generally look for the "for Asian eyes" ones...I wish someone would make "for creaseless eyes" ones haha. That would benefit a LOT of people from the sounds of it! If I ever master the faux-crease, I'll make one. I *had* accepted that I had no crease, but I felt like I was missing out on so much fun make-up so I decided to NOT stop until I figured out how to make one properly. And yeah...still figuring it out, haha.

This is a FABULOUS look on you!! I love your pictures, too, so new camera = YAY!!!

I think the way you did your "crease" looks really good. Pulled in toward the inner corner and up higher really makes it LOOK like you have a crease. I think with the eyes closed thing - the only thing I can see is that the bottom of the crease color could be blended a bit more into the lid color. Otherwise, it's awesome! So, I think you're definitely onto something, dear!!

Thanks! And I know exactly what you mean about the blending. I had a hard time getting my brush in there though, it's a pretty small area, I had to use my mini shader just to get the white in there in the first place. But thanks for the tip, I'll definitely take that into consideration next time I try this. Practice makes perfect, and tips like these definitely help a lot too.

Thanks! Hmm...maybe I will. I've always wanted to make a tutorial for people who have no eye crease since there seems to be a lot of us, but I've been waiting until I've perfected the look. I think I still need more practice before I start trying to teach it, but if I ever get the hang of it, I'll totally make one. Thanks a lot!

haha, let me know when you do! and share the wealth with all the crease-less gals out there. everytime, i try the faux-crease, it just looks silly. you know, once i had my make-up done for a wedding, and they used this eyelid tape thing to make my crease deeper and more apparent. it was kinda cool. i don't know what it is though. crease or not, you're HOT

Awww, thanks so much! These FOTDs are good for my self-esteem, hahaha. And I'll definitely post a FOTD of the look here if I decide to make a tutorial some time. I think the drawn-on crease always looks the worst to *us*...I always feel like mine looks like crap and almost don't want to show my face in public, but when other people do the same thing I think it looks great. I guess we're all just too picky about our own faces/work...kind of like hearing your own voice on a tape recorder! And I think this is the tape you mean: WONDER EYELID TAPE EXTRA D-up . Did it actually stay on? It kind of freaks me out, just the general concept. Plus my lids are kinda oily so I'd be afraid of it coming off and looking like a complete monster, haha. That would be awesome if it DID work though.
