it's these kind of items that can be more profitable to them.

they were LE, so there are going to be many people out there who only heard about the collection and never saw the products. (easy to fool with a fake product).

Then there's the hype and demand. it was an exclusive LE collection that was pretty sought after - so the prices the individual items fetch are likely going to be higher than a "normal" mac counterfeit.
