my attempt at "sunset eyes"

Hey ladies

Well this is my makeup for today.. this was my first go at using orange..ever. I like it!

I tried the whole pink and orange "sunset eyes", cos it was a nice summery day and I felt like doing something bright! heh.

I used:
Australis pink, pinky orange, orange and white shadows
CG clean liquid foundation and concealer
Australis Peachy blush
Rimmel extra super lash black mascara
Cheapo brown shadow as brow filler
Diva strawberry lip balm

Man, I haven't seen those Australis palettes around since I was a kid.

The pink looks nice on you; it makes your eyes really sparkle.

A beautiful color combo and great job! I think the only thing that I as a personl choice, would do different is add some darker liner to make the colors "pop" a little brighter,.. I love bright,...

yeah ive only just started using bright colours and im too poor right now to go to sydney to get some MAC or anything so for now its hello cheapo eyeshadows! hehe

yeah I see what you mean about the liner but I realllly suck at lining the top lid so I wasn't bothered to do it cos it takes me too long to get it looking ok lol. i'll try it next time, thanks!

Much better! It gives some more definition to your eyes without taking away from the intensity of the pink and orange.

I like with the liner much better. It looks gorgeous. The colors are very pretty!

Super pretty!! Especially with the liner... Liner always seems to be the last polishing step, that pulls everything together.

i love the colors. to be honest, i dont like the lashes like that, i prefer mine to be fuller and together instead far apart. however if its ur style u kan totally pull it off =-]....where kan i get one of those neat palettes man!!!?

hmmm thats just how they go with the rimmel mascara, its not a preference or anything.. hmm ill try my other mascara and see if theres a difference

the australis brand is only sold in australia i think :-( try ebay?
