Hi all! Yesterday was my 21st birthday and it was a helluva day. I didn't drink all that much because it was pissing my dad off when everyone started giving me alcohol as presents and I had class at 9:30 this morning anyway, so I decided to save my mega boozing for tonight

I was really inspired by magi's "Pompous Delft" tutorial, so I used some of her elements. My blending was really horrible with the paint pot, does anyone have any ideas on how to get such a dark color like Delft to blend well up to the crease instead of leaving such a harsh line?! I guess I did OK, my boyfriend really liked the Blue Peep, so I can't complain too much!

CC is welcome and thanks for looking!

I see what you mean about the harsh line, and the only advice I could give is maybe use a highlight color to blend out the edge? That's how I usually blend is by overlapping colors.

Hey - I've been wondering something. If you're not married, why is your screen name "NicksWifey?" LOL

Oh, I feel honored to inspired you. I like your version a lot. The bright liner looks so cool...

Because of the harsh line I can only adwice to blend it with a tan colored base like BARE CANVAS or PAINTERLY....

Thanks! I saw how well it looked when you used your paint, but the only paint I own is Base Light and that's more of a shimmery champagne color, so I had initially tried it with that the night before, but it didn't look too good. I'll have to try Bare Canvas and Painterly!
