I actually find that quite interesting. I think it would work wonderfully to travel with. And that is a good price for something that holds as much makeup as it does.
I am personally way too OCD to use it. I would have to make dividers or something. I am nuts about my stuff being perfectly organized lol

Your storage solution reminds me of my own. I use a Snap On toolbox...setup like yours, but it's bigger and it's red AND I cannot move it cuz it's super heavy even with nothing in it. It has a flip top that covers the top including all 6 of the drawers. I put in some of those 3 and 7 section clear containers I got from Target to organize inside. I cannot move it, it's heat resistant and I can lock my teenager out of it. muhahahahahahaha! I also store all of my jewelry inside of it too. My hubby got me that box since I was complaining about my stuff growing feet and walking out of my Rubbermaid containers.
