In the Testimonials section of the Arkay Packaging website (it's the company that makes the awesome packaging for this collection), a representative from NARS talks about the "Warhol holiday". So it does seem it will replace the holiday collection. Maybe. I don't know. We'll see. :p

New info! There will be a Debbie Harry eye and cheek palette. :)



Edit: OK, Nars x Warhol may very well be the holiday collection. :p

I really like this palette, actually. Debbie has always been one of my beauty icons, since I was very little.

That's awesome! :) I hope you'll like it even more when NARS releases promotional pictures since, like you said once, colors are pretty accurate most of the time. ;) According to color descriptions, this is everything but matte. :p

I'm so psyched right now. I love Debbie Harry. Still a Blondie fan and have been since I was a kid thanks to my older brother. This is a must have palette for me. Thank you again MarieMary!!!!

When looking for NARS in Google Images, I stumbled upon a picture that strikes me as NARS- and Warhol-like. I have no idea why it showed up since I couldn't find any reference to NARS on that specific webpage. But the model's styling is reminiscent of the look of Andy Warhol, and the way she was photographed looks NARSy (look at Holiday 2009 and 2011 for example).
It might be a picture from a hair colorist catalogue, who knows, but I figured I'd put it here anyway to pass the time and speculate, because NARS x Warhol news are scarce. :p

I'm sooo excited for this collection it makes me feel better about skipping the Mac for Marilyn collection, I'm only getting 2 lippies from that and from this one I might just get everything I am a huge NARS fan and an even bigger fan of Andy Warhol so glad you guys posted this info!!

By the way NARS posted this teaser on their YouTube it doesn't show anything but its cute lol

Went to the NARS counter today and asked about the new collection. I was shown a NARS catalog/magazine that the MUA's have on counter. The eyeshadow palettes were different to those flowery ones that have been posted. I asked if they were going to be included and I was told there would be no flowery eyeshadow palettes in the new collection. I have no idea why. The packaging is the same as in the picture, just the design of the eyeshadow looked nothing like the photos posted here. This collection is going to be so big and I think I will be getting quite a lot of it. There's a whole new range of Larger Than Life Lipglosses, Soft Touch Shadow Pencils and then there's the Holiday Gift Sets. I can't wait until it gets released. I was told it comes out in November in the UK.

Actually, I heard the same thing too when I went to the NARS counter last sat. She said there're no flowery palattes.
She also said there's a nail set in the collection.
But she said it isn't going to be a big collection. It's just same as usual collections.

Btw, Do Larger than Life liplosses come out as a set?
or are they released as another collection? (maybe before spring collection 2013 release)

Can't wait to see it! I kinda like the smaller NARS collections.

Mmmmm that's weird about the flowery palettes... Allure apparently got the pictures they published from NARS ("Photo: Courtesy of NARS" is still visible on the Allure website), and I don't understand why the brand would deliberately provide a reputable media outlet with promotional pictures of products that don't exist.
Or maybe there's one part of the collection exclusively at Sephoras, and the other on NARS websites and in counters.
I guess we'll see soon enough! :p

Thanks for the Sephora link, Aquamarine1543. So a "Kiss Mini Larger Than Life Lip Gloss Coffret" is confirmed! For $55, which is encouraging regarding the price range of this collection, as it's in line with previous holiday gift sets. Cool, I can't wait to see the colors! :)

Woohoo, the NARS websites have been updated with a little tease (it doesn't show any product). :p

There are nail polishes that will be released as part of a gift set. The eyeshadow palettes are amazing.. One of the palettes is similar to Rated R but a bit darker, it also has some black in it too. One of the others is a pinkish sort of colour with black in it too. Can't remember the rest as I was taking it all in. If only I had a copy of that catalog.

It sounds pretty similar to the New Wave palette.

You know, it looks like the concept of this year's holiday collection and giftng is all about Andy Warhol unlike other years.
so maybe all they comes out in Oct?

Btw, I can see NAR & Any Warhol link on their website, but after I clicked it, it didn't show me anything.lol
