NARS Andy Warhol collection

I think I'll only get a Self portrait palette (silver one) and International velvet l/g.
I'm not sure whether I'll get Penny Arcade and Viva l/g because they look quite dark on me. I need to see some swatches later.

Hmm! I think I'll probably end up with the Debbie Harry palette and Walk on the Wild Side set, but pass on the Silver Factory set. I'm interested in the SF multiple but I can't justify $200 for that. I may also pick up a couple of the individual products too, not sure yet. Ooh, I think the Silver Factory illuminator is going to be so pretty!

I've never bought anything from NARS holiday collections. Do they usually sell out quickly?

I've never bought anything from NARS holiday collections. Do they usually sell out quickly?

NARS holiday collections usually doesn't sell out quickly because most of them are quite expensive compared to regular collection.

Now I'm not so sure I'll haul anything from this collection. I think I may just get the things I want from the permanent line and the Fall collection instead. My interest with NARS is mainly cheek and lip products, and this collection is lacking both. I'm interested in the lipgloss tin, but I've yet to try a NARS lipgloss. I've seen some complain about their scent and I'm sensitive to that type of thing. Not sure it's such a great idea for me to buy a whole set of them before trying one.

I love Nars lipglosses. I don't recall ever noticing a scent. But then I have Vanilla Mac and In Yer Face Chanel to compare it to.... Just pulled out a nars lipgloss and my funtabulous. Nars has no noticable added scent and I can smell the vanilla in the Mac. Perhaps the unscentedness of it smells funky to some? You know how some unscented lotions smell weird because they are not traditionally fragranced? I live in unscented stuff and notice even 'masking fragrance' in the so called unscented stuff so am used to that general gloop smell. Hard to explain. Grab a tub of Cetaphil lotion or cream next time at store and you will know what I am talking about.

I just got in an order of some more Nars lippies~ their fat chubbie lip pencils in both gloss and regular, a matte slimstick and their traditional lipstick with some gloss. Yes, I went hog wild. They honestly have no discernible scent or taste to me. I realize some people are more sensitive than I am but to my tongue and nose it is a regular unscented gloop taste and smell. Just wanted to follow up since I have now tried all of their lip products with the exception of liners.

I just want the deep throat and amour blush duo! Those are two of the blushes i've been wanting to get. Don't know if it is worth paying for the whole kit...

I feel exactly the same! Since i don't want anything else in the kit though I think I'll just get the blushes separately.

I also want the silvery, white and black self-portrait palette and maybe the highlighting blush.

I LOVE the Silver Factory set, but I can't justify the $200 price tag when I probably won't use the brushes or the eyeshadow. I really want the lipstick and the multiple though! I'll probably pick up the Edie set instead since I've been meaning to buy a stylo and I love the Pure Matte lipsticks.

Thanks. Afghan Red is the only NARS lipstick I currently own and I never noticed a scent. I'm getting Autumn Leaves very soon and of course there are more shades on my list. I wasn't sure if the glosses are different since I've seen some people mention something about a smell.
