Is this a new line of eyeshadow, or a new finish in the single eyeshadow line? We shall see!

I thought they will come out independently later (like satin lip pencils) rather than in seasonal collections.lol

It makes sense. Like they'll release a new line with about 10 shades (that's an estimation, let's say between 7 and 12), and then add shades in seasonal collections, one at a time.

Now what do they mean by dual intensity? Is it 2 shades that are super intense, or is it one shade that can be both mildly intense or super intense depending on how you use it?

Could be, although since Nars shadows can already be used wet and dry, it doesn't seem like that huge a difference. I love the look of the colour, although I probably won't be sporting it in exactly the way those models are...

So the mood is celestial bodies, I guess. Desdemona, Dione and Phoebe are moons in the solar system, Andromeda is a galaxy.
You could also say they're named after mythology and classic literature characters, since that's the source of the names for those celestial bodies.

I found it!

Andromeda Dual-Intensity eyeshadow out Fall 2014, Tokyo duo is similar
Dione Dual-Intensity eyeshadow out Fall 2014, All about eve duo is similar


I think Andromede is matte and light gray.
Btw, they will come out "in the fall", not the summer.
Maybe it's possible dual-intensity eyeshadows will be released in each seasonal collection.

Interesting that Nars did the makeup for the Marc Jacobs show. He usually does- they're apparently friends- but I would have expected Jacobs to use his own cosmetic line this year.

According to one of the articles, they hit the counter in July. Maybe in June at Nars official website cuz a fall collection usually comes out in the mid of July.
I think they are dual-intensity eyeshadows and they look somewhat between shimmery and metallic or similar texture to Cinematic eyeshadows.





(I don't think blushes are new since they used Deep Throat and Madly for the show.)

This is the first time I'm seeing these, I'm kinda interested. They remind me of the MAC ED stuff, which I don't like much, so maybe I'll like Nars' version of this kind of formula more.
