Nars eyeshadow substitute?

Hey girls! I was just wondering if there is a nars eyeshadow substitue for MAC's satin taupe? Should I just get satin taupe?

I have Nars single e/s in Ashes to Ashes. I think we have close to the same coloring and I highly recommend it!!
I don't have Satin Taupe, but I have heard they are very similar. A to A is so amazingly pretty for a smokey eye (even though it looks like blah in the compact), I don't feel the need look elsewhere.

Satin Taupe is less expensive, beautiful, and the shade you're looking for. Get it, it's one of my favorites!!!

i dont own satin taup.. yet i saw it in mac counter.. but i have ashes to ashes and its such such a beautiful color for smokey looks..i say if you can try both to feel the shadows.. then if possible swatch one on a little piece of paper so you can compare the color when you reach the other brand's couter
