Alright, I've flip flopped again. I want this powder. I cannot be left out of the loop. I want to go pick it up, though b/c I am too impatient to order. However, it's starting to snow and it's supposed to snow shower from now until tomorrow night. Hopefully, I can get outside tomorrow and get this magic powder.

I feel so out of the loop. I ordered the compact from Sephora a couple of weeks ago. I just opened the box and it has the loose in it. WTF?!? Then I see that the same thing happened to alot of people. I am not usually a fan of loose powder. I find it to be messy. But I really don't want to go through the hassle of a return. Should I just keep the loose? P.S. Thank you Shontay for your review of the Real Techniques buffing brush. I managed to pick one up recently as part of an after Christmas discounted set (set of 4 brushes for $8) and I love it.

So many people are getting the wrong product (loose vs. pressed) with their order and Sephora is just shipping them the correct one... Makes it sound like a potential "2 for the price of 1" deal

Yep, that is what happened to me. I guess their product numbers were reversed. I am keeping the loose. The pressed should be here Tuesday or Wed.

Let me know what you think of the compact and if there is any discernable difference other than convenience.

I ordered the pressed powder just now. I'm nearly out of my MAC powder and I'm so excited to try something new!

Wow! I won't spend a penny with Sephora ever again. I had sent them an email regarding the mix up with the powder. The response I got was essentially that I was not telling the truth and that I got what I ordered. They must have fixed the error on their side to reflect what they shipped. The only problem with that is that I have the packing slip that came with it that says it should have been the compact. No offer to correct the situation, nothing. I spend so much money with them that I have secured VIB status through 2014 but I am done. Unfortunately this isn't the first case of bad service I have had with them. In 8 years I have only made one return.

I will wait for the pressed powder to come to Nordstrom.

Wow that is ridiculously bad service from Sephora! If they don't want to correct their mistake with you privately by email, leave a message on their FB page. Companies don't like it when you voice your concerns and disappointments publicly, it gives them a bad image. They'll either deal with the issue properly and promptly, or they'll just confirm that they're offering bad service. It's worth a try imho, at least to get them to correct their mistake. ;)

Holy Cow!!! That is just insane stupid. When I called, the lady put me on hold & then came back & confirmed that Sephora did indeed have the numbers reversed & had many complaints. I can't believe that. You must have got someone that had an attitude

So sorry April! You should call & complain.

Ok, I'm going to bite. What is FM BP? I've tried to guess from the context, but I have no idea

.
Forever Marilyn Beauty Powder from MAC. A lot of pale gals purchased it in multiples and I figured if they were they must know something I didn't so I snagged some extras. I doubt I will ever even get through them all but it really is nice on me

You should call again. I'm willing to bet you won't be met with such rudeness again and you can complain about the person that "helped" you the first time. That is just ridiculous. I'd be a bitch on wheels about that.

I haven't posted on here for years! but I'm glad to be back! I got hold of the pressed powder from Space NK in London on Friday (1st) as I had a Space NK gift voucher for xmas that I hadn't yet used. I decided to get the pressed simply so I can carry the mirror around. I usually carry around my Laguna bronzer for the mirror. I have dry skins so I hardly ever powder unless I use something very dewy like Vitalumiere or MAC F&B, but I always find powder clings around my dry patches, no matter the formula. I've tried MAC blot, MUFE HD, Laura Mercier, Bobbi Brown, Rimmel and so many others. So I had no hopes for this at all.

When I first opened the pressed powder, it looks like plastic, usually when the powder is pressed you can see ridges. This is so compact that it doesnt even look real! I was so amazed.

I used it yesterday with Vitalumiere and today with NARS tinted moisturizer, I cannot believe how amazing this powder is!!! SERIOUSLY! I've got thin "jellyfish" skin too and my skin looks smooth and flawless and "glass like". My mum asked me if I'd had a facial when in fact, I'm really sick and have a cold! This powder is in no way drying and not cakey at all! It even looked good in direct sunlight! I am shocked!

Can't wait for you guys to receive the correct powders to see your opinions! x

That sounds awful! So sorry to hear about the bad service. I've worked in retail for quite some time, and I would never treat a customer like that, regardless of who's to blame.

That's a great idea. Usually they're quick to respond because they don't like thy everyone and their mum can see the Sephora FB page.

That's ridiculous. I've seen many, many accounts online of the product numbers being reversed. I would definitely post on their Facebook page to get them to fix the problem. I also don't think that customers should be required to ship back the product when it's Sephora's mistake. MAC sent me a full size foundation last year that wasn't anywhere on my packing slip and they told me to keep it.
