Nars oil free foundation

So I bought this foundation in fuji and absolutely love it!
It is so smooth looking and not too shiny or too dry... but I was wearing it for the second time yesterday and one of my friends (who is male) told me I looked very yellow today

It made me sad because it was a guy who noticed, of all people, that I was wearing a different foundation and didn't like it

Has anyone else had any issues with this?

I had the same problem with that foundation (only in a different color whose name I can't remember). It was a shame, too, because I absolutely loved the finish and the fact that it didn't break me out, but I could only deal with the yellowness for so long. I had to abandon it in favor of finding something that was a better match for my skin's undertones.
