New hair?

I'm pretty much uprooting my life & changing everything in it....this includes my hair (whenever I go through a big change I do something drastic to my hair too).

So here is my hair now.... (excuse the VERY unflattering pics)

I'm not entirely sure what I want to do to it. It's the longest I've had it since I was in 3rd grade so I kinda want to keep the length, but I'm not entirely committed to it.

(in no particular order)
Option 1:
This is me a few years ago. I got a ton of compliments on this look & it was pretty low maintenance (although I currently do absolutely NOTHING to my hair...I don't even comb it some days).

Option 2:
Similar to option 1, except longer. Like, kinda like Joan Jett (a la I love Rock & Roll Video, but styled differently) mixed with "scene hair"

And then the other dilema...bangs/no bangs? Side Swept or blunt?
I haven't had blunt bangs since I was little, but I'm really feeling them lately. I usually wear a version of side swept ones, but if you all think I could pull off blunt ones, I think I wanna try them again.

Opinions??? TIA

The first option looked amazing on you. I vote for that.

i think you should keep it long and add sideswept bangs. Those are universally flattering and i love your long hair!!

I like Option 2. I think you should go with something different and go with the blunt bangs.
