New haircut!

To be short and to the point -
I've had incredibly long hair for the past year or so.
I got sick of it.
Decided to cut it myself.
This is the result -


Before:

It was really long, but the ends were just completely fried, gross, and dead.


After:

I was going for a messy look.
What do you guys think? Better or worse?
