Nw, Nc, C

Okay so I haven't seen this posted but sorry if I missed it.. I'm kind of new to the freelancing business and I'm building my kit... I was curious...

What is the difference between NC and NW.. and then C?

Is one more for yellowish skintones and red skintones? If so which is for which? Or if I'm wrong.. what IS the difference?

I believe that nw = not warm, so for cool people, and NC = not cool for warm people. however, i have no idea about c.

There's a whole thread about this.. somewhere...

What i got from the thread is:
NC= yellow golden undertones
NW= red and pink undertones
C= Really yellow! lol

I think the N indicated that the product will neutralize the undertone.
