I don't think they can be compared as the texture of the PLW blushes is so different.
hmmm. I think from what you originally said, that there was no sheen, shimmer etc, I would be willing to try these. I'm allergic to anything with a shimmer in it BUT I am super pale and have oily skin so maybe these will be right up my alley.

The sheertones have a much more noticeable shimmer whereas the PLW have more a polished glow (you might call it sheen). I hope that makes sense. If you are unsure, it's best to try them in person to avoid disappointment.

I believe their father was Armenian and their mother is Dutch and something else....

That's enough of an incentive for me to check these out!

My aunt lives near the Cabazon outlets. Maybe I'll call and if they still have them, ask her to pick one up for me! If not, I'll call around locally (LA, OC and SD outlets) or stop by one of the Vegas CCOs (before I have fun at the playground that is the Forum Shoppes Pro Store!!!

Hoping for a repromote! I need this and the 131, lol.
You have plenty of options in Southern California.

I'm not even sure where CCO's get these brushes from - I mean the older ones, not the latest collections. They probably sat in the drawer of a Macy's or other department store and no one there asked for them. Well, I'm always elated to find brushes at CCO's. It's usually my BU-of-my-BU's plan. :)

It makes sense, thanks! Will def be trying all of these out in person. It's going to be an annoying week knowing I have to wait until thursday to see all this stuff.

I know people are saying the eyeshadows arent that great but I'm still hoping I like them...def want to try linger softly and fashion fix at least.

I thought the blushes looked great on T. I think they would be too light for my complexion though..

I bought 2 more 174 as well, though the price is still steep at over 50 bucks a piecIt
I got a few backups of each of the 174 and 136, 4 205's, some 216's, and 2 189's too. I also picked up the Gereth Pugh 182. I love it!!! I was hoping to find the 222 and 272 but no luck.

I saw the 222 a few months ago. I definitely stocked up! If I see anymore, I'll pick up some for you!

Hmm, I actually very much like the look of Baby Don't Go in T's swatch. I'm curious to see more reviews on wear time!

There's nothing I'm drawn to in this collection, and none of the swatches or reviews I've seen have me feeling that I'm missing something. I liked the Tres Cheek collection and HS blushes better; I'm so glad that I was able to get both IF and LA. With my neutrals, it feels like I have the professional office look covered.

I did not find that the PLW blushes lasted a longer amount of time - or shorter time, for that matter - than the regular powder blushes. Both wear equally long on me. On the other hand, the mineralize blushes tend to fade quicker.

Stubborn is very well pigmented, I like to use the brush #187 or #188 to apply it very lightly on my cheeks. And it stays at least 8 hours without fading, probably longer than that but I like to remove my makeup as soon as I get back from work.

I do have oily skin, but when I apply it on my cheeks my skin isn't even oily yet and it doesn't look powdery. And not every shade will look good on everyone, I think T forgot that it's great to have pale shades for light skintones and that doesn't mean that the product is bad. I dunno.. just my 2 cents. Don't get me wrong, I love her.

I should've waited for the reviews to order, but I jumped the gun and got Ever Ivory and WLL. Can't wait for WLL... kinda meh on EI now.... :/

I'm not too sure if I agree with T's review yet. I'm wearing Blush all day and the color shows up on me with no problem and I'm an nc30. It gives me a soft natural look. So far so good.. I'll have to wait to see how it wears throughout the day.
Me too! I'm also NC30 and I've been wearing Blush All Day since 6 in the morning and it's still there!

I was so looking forward to Thursday to check out the two new collections, Office Hours and Face and Body, but the Bay just sent out a $20 off coupon that starts next MONDAY. Uggh. Hope nothing sells out.
