I'm writing an article about online dating--basically, it's going to be a "things you need to know" piece. (Please note that I'm not in any way, shape or form affiliated with a dating site nor am I writing the article for one.)
So my question is, for women who have met their SOs/DHs online or are currently using an online service, what advice would give to someone who's just started or thinking about it? What do you wish you knew when you first signed up that you know now? Essentially, I'm looking for tips/advice.
No one's name will be used in the article, and if you don't feel comfortable discussing it on the forum, please feel free to PM me with your responses.
