ostentatious fluidliner

what do you guys think of this fluidline colour? i've read so many reviews and from what I've heard the green/blue is not very noticable.. have you guys tried it yet?

It was too much of a red brown, I like Graphic Brown much better.

I've not seen it because it's not out here yet but from what's been said on MUA it looks like the sort of greenish poo a sick baby might produce! Doesn't sound very enticing!

i'm nw45 studio fix powder......i looked like a matte club/blue brown on me....i didn't get it but i must say i'm thinking of going back!!!!

I'm probably in the minority, but I think it's pretty. It's nothing spectacular, but is a nice average brown. I don't see any reddish tones in it... and I see just an ever so slight blue/green in it... similar to how in Blitz & Glitz you can only see the faintest specks of gold.

the colour of the fluidliner is not terribly intense, nor is the blue/green flash. it is a great eyeshadow base, and really helps to bring out the colours in club and in blue brown pigment (which usually turn orange on me).

i do not find the colour intense enough to be just an eyeliner.

but as an eyeshadow base, i am very happy. and there isn't too much red or orange in it.

I really really like this one. It looks amazing when you are wearing teal/bluish eye shadows and use this to thinly line the upper lid. It looks very pretty that way, and since I wear teal/blue alot I am very happy with it.

I have mainly read negative reviews however and I too am definately in the minority on this one, but I really like this one and it pleasantly surprised me, esp. w/all the neg publicity it has gotten.

I think Ostentatious isn't that ugly, but it also isn't terribly unique. A midtone brown, I didn't think it was red at all, but it isn't as intense a brown as Graphic Brown either.

I like its intensity, it works well as an eyeliner but this is one fluidline that isn't a must have.

I bought it based on description, and am a tad disappointed tbh.
That said I think it "could" look fab with the right look. Just not sure what the right look is

yeah i am torn. i forgot about it when i went to get my rockcoc,had lipstcik on the brain

but now i a just don't know. i like the shadow base idea...
edit: I saw it irl,got and love it. I think it is a nice cool chocolate. it is even lovelier buffed a bit.

i dont care for the brownish tone it has. i agree with the poo.lol. im also not a fan of blue brown pigment..and it seems kinda like that. i prefer graphic brown over this.

Probably more people were expecting a deeper chocolate brown with blue-green reflects. From the swatches I've seen, it looks more like an olive-taupey color to me. Pretty enough, but not what most people were hoping for, based on the initial description from MAC. I love fluidlines, but passed on this one. I still would love to see MAC release a fluidline like the initial one described above. Until then, I've got my graphic brown which is quite lovely.

Whilst I love them, I already have enough chocolate browns and bronzes - I was delighted to finally discover a taupe gel liner for those "subtle" eyeliner days.

Will be great for those with pale features as well.
