Paint Pot Safety?

Are the paint pots by MAC, specifically "Artifact" safe for use on lips?

They should be, the area that you really have to worry about is your eyes. If it is eye safe I would assume that it is lip safe as well.

I thought I read somewhere they were not recommended for lips but I cant find it.

I honestly wouldnt, the smell of that right under my nose would turn me off, not to mention I dont believe the ingredients are safe for ingestion.
