Paul Newman Passes at 83

Not sure why, but this one really hit me in a strange, nostalgic way. At 31, most of the Paul Newman movies I watched were already "classics" like Cool Hand Luke, Butch Cassidy and the Sundance Kid, The Hustler... but recently, when I've seen him interviewed, I've just thought of him as one of the ultimate cool grandfatherly figures.
And I just love this: He sometimes teamed with his wife and fellow Oscar winner, Joanne Woodward, with whom he had one of Hollywood's rare long-term marriages. "I have steak at home, why go out for hamburger?" Newman told Playboy magazine when asked if he was tempted to stray.
