Codes are good for discounts on your ebay purchases when you use pay pal as payment.

10% off 1 item, max $25 off Code: C1-Holiday2005 Exp 11/30
$5 off 1 item $50 or more Code: C2-Holiday2005 Exp 11/30

Yes it does - I just used it today and saved $7 (but you cannot use any of these codes more than once - you have to switch them up) - maybe that was your problem

When I am set to pay for my auction with PayPal, I just pick a code, and there is a button that says redeem (or something like it). I do that, it changes my total, and then I go to pay it. (I am a eBay/PayPal whore and have used a few of these codes this month). However, if I forget and use one code that I've used before, it lets me know.
